The Australian Marine Industry Awards celebrate outstanding achievement across Australia’s superyacht, marine export, and commercial marine sectors. The awards are presented by the Australian International Marine Export Group (AIMEX) and are open to members of AIMEX, Superyacht Australia, and the Australian Commercial Marine Group (ACMG).

A Global Opportunity for Apprentices
AIMEX’s commitment to supporting the future of Australia’s marine industry is epitomised through the Marine Industry Apprentice of the Year Award.
The winner receives complimentary return flights to Amsterdam, accommodation and an industry pass to Metstrade, the world’s largest marine equipment trade show, sharing in the experience of the Australian delegation.

The Australian Marine Industry Awards Gala Dinner is a prestigious event celebrating the excellence, innovation and leadership within the Australian marine sector. Held annually, the evening brings together industry leaders, professionals, and businesses to honour the achievements of award winners and finalists across various categories.

AUSTRALIAN SUPERYACHT AWARDS
This year features three Superyacht Awards. The Australian Superyacht Project, Design or Manufacturer of the Year and Superyacht Service Provider of the Year remain unchanged, alongside the introduction of a new category, Superyacht Facility of the Year, which recognises marinas and shipyards previously assessed under the Service Provider Award.

MARINE INDUSTRY WIDE AWARDS
All members of ACMG, AIMEX and Superyacht Australia are invited to apply for the Marine Industry Wide Awards. This category recognises excellence in marketing, innovation and apprenticeships. The winning Apprentice of the Year receives the incredible opportunity to travel with the Australian delegation to Metstrade in Amsterdam.

Tips for a Successful Submission
TIP #1 – Apply for the awards! Remember the saying – you have to be in it to win it!
TIP #2 – Adhere to the maximum word limit. This year, any words over the maximum word limit will NOT contribute to the award application.
TIP #3 – Enhance your submission with graphs and data – they are not included in the word limit and are a strong way to demonstrate your story and success.
TIP #4 – Make it personal! While AI tools might help you craft a submission, our judges agree that entries with a personal touch really stand out.
TIP #5 – Nominate only ONE apprentice for the Apprentice of the Year Award. This encourages you to carefully consider who best represents your organisation.
TIP #6 – Submit only ONE application per award category. Members are welcome to enter multiple award categories; however, only one entry is permitted within each individual award category.
TIP #7 – Ensure Australian-based content is included; this is especially applicable to overseas-based companies.
TIP #8 – Save your award application wtih your companies name so when we receive it, we know it is you!
TIP #9 – Complete all pages on the award application and submit online via the submission form.
